How long does it take to process an order?

Please allow 2-3 business days to process your order before it ships.

What if there is a problem with my order?

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your order, please contact us within three business days. It is important to us that you are 100% satisfied with our products and we will make every effort to address and correct any concerns.

Can I return the product?

Due to the fact that our caramel products are cooked to order and are perishable, we do not accept product returns.

May I adjust or cancel my order?

Yes, you are welcome to modify your order as long as you contact us prior to the order ship date.  Please reach out to us by phone or email to discuss any modifications for your order.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

You are only responsible for sales tax if your billing address is in the same state as our facility - MARYLAND.

Do you offer any discounts on bulk orders?

We do offer pricing discounts for larger orders.  Discounts vary based upon quantity and type of packaging.  To place a bulk order, please contact our custom order specialist at custom@mouthpartycaramel.com or 410-662-0800.

How far in advance do I need to place a custom order?

The timeframe for custom orders does vary.  We have a custom order specialist in house to help coordinate your order.  Please email her directly at custom@mouthpartycaramel.com or call our facility, 410-662-0800, to discuss order details.

When will my order ship?

Our products will ship once your order is processed.  *Please allow 2-3 business days to process your order. 

How will my order ship?

We ship our poducts via UPS.  Depending upon the shipping location, the package will either ship UPS Ground, UPS 3-Day Select, or UPS Sure Post.

Do you ship in warmer months?

We do ship in the warmer months.  We make every attempt possible to protect our products from melting by adding sweat proof cool packs and Green Cell Foam packaging inserts to line our boxes.  We use our cool packaging anytime the temperatures are forecasted to reach 75 degrees or above.  A $2.00 charge is automatically applied to your chipping costs at checkout.

How long will your products stay fresh?

We use only the highest quality ingredients with no added preservatives or additives.  Subsequently, our products are perishable, retaining their freshness for up to four months.  The shelf life can increase significantly by refrigerating them in air tight bags.

Do your caramels contain nuts?

NO! Our caramels and caramel sauces are manufactured in a nut-free facility.  In addition, our products are FREE of gluten, soy, trans fats, and high fructose corn syrup.

Can I order a large order for immediate delivery?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not keep a large stock on hand. For multiple or bulk orders, please call our kitchen directly to place your order.

What ingredients do you use in your caramel?

We use a 4-generation old family recipe of butter, cream, cane sugar, corn syrup, and pure vanilla extract as the foundation for every caramel.  We add Fleur de Sel sea salt, Old Bay Seasoning, Guittard chocolate, natural oils, and other clean ingredients to create the caramels your have come to love.

How many caramels come in each package?

Our caramels are handmade in small batches.  We sell our caramels in gift bags and gift boxes by weight.  On average our gift bags contain; 13 pieces per 6oz gift and 23 pieces per 10oz gift bag.  On average our gift boxes contain; 18 pieces per 8oz gift box and 37 pieces per 16oz gift box.

What is the difference between the OMG! and chocolate sea salt caramel?

The OMG! caramels are our vanilla caramels blanketed in 38% milk chocolate and dusted with Fleur de Sel sea salt on top.  Our chocolate sea salt caramels have a 72% dark chocolate cooked into our vanilla caramel recipe and then sprinkled with Fleur de Sel sea salt before being cut into squares.

What ingredients do you use in your caramel sauce?

Our vanilla caramel sauce consists of butter, cream, cane sugar, and pure vanilla extract.  We then add a teensy-weensy bit of sunflower lecithin to help emulsify the sauce.  We add Fleur de Sel sea salt and Guittard 72% dark chocolate wafers to create our two additional flavors; sea salt, chocolate sea salt.

Why is the sauce separated on the bottom?

We cook our sauce slowly and by hand to ensure a deep, rich color and flavor.  We do not add any preservatives to our products so over time, the butter may separate from the sugar and cream, much like a natural peanut butter.  Not to worry...just give it a stir and enjoy!

How do you suggest using the sauce?

Our sauces are rich, creamy, and velvety...truly scrumptious.  Dunk a dollop in your coffee, bake into brownies, drizzle over ice cream, or serve as caramel fondue with cut apple slices.  Although, most people tell us that they love it best straight out of the jar with a spoon!  WARNING: addictive.

Can I find Mouth Party Caramel in stores?
